Chai-Chili Brownies

"We spiced our favorite brownie recipe all the way up with warm, soothing chai spice and mild Urfa chili fruitiness for some heat that lingers on the tongue. A little extra pinch of salt on top makes these brownies almost irresistible, and so good with ice cream!"

Ingredients
5 Tbsp unsalted butter or vegan butter, plus more for greasing
6 ounces chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs or egg alternative, lightly beaten

1 tsp Chai

1 tsp Black Urfa Chili

¼ tsp Wind-Blown Sea Salt, plus more for sprinkling
⅓ cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 °F and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with aluminum foil, then butter the foil.
Gently melt butter and chocolate together in a pan or microwave, then stir in sugar, salt and spices.
Add eggs and mix well.
Fold in flour, do not overmix.
Use a spatula to scrape the batter into the pan, and sprinkle with a bit of salt.
Bake for 30 minutes or until done to your liking. We like ‘em squidgy!
