Avocado Toast with Sautéed Mushrooms and Caramelized Onion

Ingredients
Bread of your choice: baguette, whole wheat, white, etc.

Hoja Santa & Sea Salt, to taste
1 ripe avocado
¾ cup mushrooms, sliced
1 large onion, sliced thinly
Olive oil

Pepper (optional)
Directions
Cut avocado and remove flesh, mash in a bowl until smooth.
In a pan, add olive oil and cook the onion over medium-low heat until golden and caramelized (15-20 minutes). Remove to a bowl.
In the same pan, sauté the mushrooms until golden, 5-7 minutes. Add Hoja Santa & Sea Salt to taste.
Toast the bread and spread it with the mashed avocado, then top with onions and mushrooms.
Sprinkle with more Hoja Santa & Sea Salt, and serve!
